FARMINGDALE, N.J. (July 12, 2016) – Bel-Ray sponsored racer Ken Roczen of RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki Factory Racing team took second place in 450MX at the AMA Pro Motocross Southwick National on July 9.

After coming off of his fifth victory of the 2016 season at Redbud, Roczen continued to land himself on the podium. Despite various challenges in the first moto, Roczen returned in the second moto ready for a close race and ultimately finished 2-2. With five rounds to go in the season, Roczen remains first in overall rider point standings with a 47-point lead.

“I felt like I struggled, pretty bad,” said Roczen. “No excuses. I struggled in the first moto so we went back and made some changes and it was better for the second one. It wasn’t ideal. I kind of felt uncomfortable out there all day. Just tried to minimize the mistakes and do the best I can even though it wasn’t ideal. In the second moto we had a good battle going on. We were kind of yo-yoing there for a while.”
