Upcoming Anti-Doping Educational Meeting: Friday, June 2, 2017, Thunder Valley National
The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) Education Team will conduct an anti-doping education initiative Friday, June 2, 2017, at 3:00 pm, at Thunder Valley Raceway in Lakewood, Colorado, in conjunction with Round 3 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championships.
All riders, crew and team members are encouraged to attend.  Please be prepared with any questions or concerns you have regarding rider nutrition, supplements, and medication.
Trainers are also encouraged to attend to review the proposed USADA initiative to hold trainers directly responsible for any rider-related anti-doping violation.
In conjunction with the Anti-Doping Educational Meeting, Cardiologist Dr. Robert Beto of Heart Nexus Technology will discuss the benefits of cardiac screening to manage the risk of sudden cardiac death in athletes.
All AMA Pro Motocross Licensed Riders are subject to the MX Sports Pro Racing Substance Abuse Policy, which incorporates the Anti-Doping rules and regulations of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code, as enforced by USADA.
To view the MX Sports Pro Racing Substance Abuse Policy, see Appendix B of the AMA Pro Racing 2017 Rules for Professional Motocross Competition.
